Charming pub, comfortable room, with antique furniture and a delightful four poster bed that made my overnight stay incredibly relaxing, coupled with a spacious bathroom featuring quality fittings and a fantastic shower.

The deluxe double room offered stunning valley views and featured a comfortable antique four-poster bed, making for a delightful experience. Ample parking was available, and the tea and coffee facilities added a nice touch. Unfortunately, the pricing did not provide as much value compared to similar places, and while the breakfast was well cooked, the selection felt limited. It’s a cozy option but considering the overall experience, there are areas for improvement.

Perfect for fam getaway!

We had a blast! Spacious bungalow with three cozy bedrooms. The kitchen was awesome for family dinners, and my sis loved the foosball table! Just a heads up, the pub was closed when we visited, so we had to drive for food. But, M&S and Morrisons are only 20 mins away, so no biggie!

I had a lovely stay in a cozy double room with wonderful countryside views. the meals were delicious, especially breakfast! The four-poster bed was incredibly comfortable, just like in the pictures.

the rising sun inn had great breakfast facilities in the room with cereal, coffee, a kettle, and a toaster. We enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. the food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. we hope to stay again since it has great potential!

i recently stayed here with my family during a fantastic walking tour in west bagborough. the inn exceeded our expectations with a clean and spacious room that offered stunning views of the countryside. the meals were delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

We had a lovely one-night stay in a quaint room with a spectacular valley view. The antique four-poster bed was super comfy! Plus, they stocked the room with tea, coffee, and even some snacks which was a nice touch. The only thing was the dining area could use a bit more ambiance.

The hospitality was top-notch, making us feel right at home. The food in the pub was delicious and well-prepared, definitely a culinary gem in the area! Parking was ample, and the spacious room offered stunning views of the countryside.

A mirror in the room would have been handy, and breakfast options were a bit sparse. Still, everything else shined in this delightful spot!

I stayed for 3 nights in a Double Room. The hospitality was exceptional, and they welcomed us and our dogs warmly. There are beautiful local walks nearby. The food in the pub was delicious and well-prepared. I will definitely return! 🐾
